We wanted to create an atmosphere that encouraged more students to get involved in the College. Style wise, we used bold statements of colour and type with student life as the focus in all the marketing materials. We chose a colourful, friendly and approachable style with a direct yet reassuring tone that helped the College communicate across all platforms.
To phase in the new brand style, we introduced a new enrolment campaign complete with a fully responsive website. This helps students take full control of their own education by searching for courses, adding them to their own custom prospectus and downloading it to a desktop or mobile device. We supported this with a new printed prospectus and marketing materials.
It was a no-brainer to make social media our bullhorn. Its relaxed, informal nature helped us to talk to students and helped them feel comfortable approaching the college. And it was ideal for keeping students in the loop with college life and important things like exam timetables.
As well as managing its social media, we monitor the College’s online reputation, come up with social campaign ideas and write online content.
The College’s social audience has grown significantly in this time, connecting past, present and future students with parents and members of the local community.
