With live family shows including the likes of 'In the Night Garden' and 'Bing!' in their portfolio, Family Tickets approached us to replatform their ticket selling website, which needed to deal with lots of complex 'behind-the-scenes' data, seamlessly incorporate integrations and update seat availability in real time.
Custom integrations and automation
When you’re dealing with complex, real time stock and seat availability across various other sites and in-house systems - all selling the same ticket - an off-the-shelf approach certainly wasn’t going to be an option. We don’t think it’s been done in Shopify Plus before either!
Everything from the creation of events dynamically to seamless connections with app partners was considered as part of a custom solution which needed much more than a typical Shopify build would require.
The outcome of this bespoke build was a high-performing ticket-selling platform; the first project of its kind for Shopify Plus.
