Premier Equine is a Great British brand and front runner in equestrian products including clothing, boots, rugs and specialist equine protection and injury prevention across the equestrian world. With a reputation for providing high-quality products to a loyal following that includes everyone from weekend riders to Olympians.
Getting international sales up to speed
As larger numbers of equestrians discovered the brand, the Premier Equine team began to feel constrained by the limitations of the existing Oxatis platform. To take its market-leading blend of innovation, technology and quality to a worldwide market, the brand turned to Shopify Plus.
Mobile-first Design
To help the brand hit a new audience, we created an improved Mobile-first user experience around the brand narrative that showcases the considered craft and attention to detail that goes into each and every product.
From customer ordering, to shipping and returns, the new site simplifies and streamlines both front and back office processes, to bring customers a straightforward, seamless online experience.
Custom integrations
DPD and DHL Courier integrations enabled the brand to link existing couriers into their core system, simplifying the 1000+ daily orders and deliveries, and make returns management hassle-free. With the advent of Brexit, Premier Equine needed to make sure they continued to deliver the high level of service customers across the globe had always enjoyed.
With domestic customers taken care of by DPD, we integrated with DHL to deliver a Landed Cost solution for overseas customers: no demands for tax or duties on the doorstep - what you pay at checkout is all you pay. Whilst DHL had a number of customers looking at Landed Cost solutions, Strawberry were the first to actually put it into practice.
Xero integration fast-tracked the transition from Sage 200 to Xero which simplified and sped up accountancy admin - making their digital retail more transparent.
Partnering with trusted retail technologies
In collaboration with our technology partners, we made it simpler for the brand to improve their overall customer experience from shopper trust and reviews with Yotpo, to easy payments through Klarna onto greater personalised post-purchase engagement with Klaviyo.
The move to Shopify Plus allowed us to perfectly express the brand online and bring Premier Equine a mobile-ready experience with the speed and scale its global ambition demanded.
